Reverie (b. 1994) is an Italian visual artist currently living and working between Milan and Vinci, Italy.
She lives in Milan and dedicates every moment, every action and every rose in his life to Art. Her anagraphic name, and not only her artistic one, is a dedication to Bachelard’s “Poetics of Reverie” (nomen omen). She works on contaminations, interferences of looks and reactions, starting from the deepest solitude.

Reverie
primo oggetto da sogno, 2019
ceramic, edition of ten unique pieces
this is a unique work
These ‘dream objects’ are part of an overall cycle of work, in parallel with new works, performances, artists’ books and projects dedicated to synthesising the urgencies, thoughts and emotions of common feeling.
I make ceramic elements, figures, inventions that appeared in my dreams: fantastic animals, emerald wombs, containers of tears… a fantastic repertoire of unique subjects that I create in the material which, in my opinion, perfectly represents the idea and the ideal of giving body to the intangibility of dreams.
These first ‘dream objects’ are born from the dreamlike vision of bringing Nature to our ears, so that we can listen to it through an invented leaf, halfway between that of the lotus and the Judas tree, almost like a shell that brings us back into contact with the voice of the sea.
They are ten unique pieces that I have moulded by hand and enamelled with different colours and pure gold.
Apparently these are personal visions, but in reality each of these ‘dream objects’ can free each user’s imagination, memories and emotions according to their own lives.
