Giuseppe Solinas (b. 1984) is an Italian multimedia artist currently living and working in Biella, Italy.
He studied computer science and then theoretical philosophy. He started his self-taught artistic research in 2008, driven by the need to give an expressive form to the philosophical thought matured in university studies. He initially worked on drawing and painting, then he started experimenting on abstract sculpture and in the last few years he have dedicated himself to installation and video, finding in these last two expressive means a good research stability.

Uso la fotografia con un approccio all’immagine diretto che vuole spingere la forma al suo picco espressivo fino alla dissociazione percettiva che separa il vedere dall’udire, portando la forma del corpo nella stessa condizione di un dipinto astratto.
I use photography with a direct image approach that wants to push the form to its expressive peak up to the perceptive dissociation that separates seeing from hearing, bringing the shape of the body into the same condition as an abstract painting.
