SPAZI is a project aimed at enhancing the independent and not-for-profit realities that promote the improvement of contemporary art research through their activities. Created in 2015 as an observatory dedicated to the various design forms developed in recent years by project spaces, independent spaces, artist run space, collective, SPAZI is a fluid project, a network that facilitates the dialogue between these new realities and the public. In the first two editions, realized in 2015 at Fabbrica del Vapore and in 2017 at Edicola Radetzky, SPAZI was structured as a gathering of project spaces from different Italian regions, hosted in Milan in one place. For the 2018 edition, created in collaboration with the Municipality of Milan, Youth, University and Higher Education Area, SPAZI was focused focus on the Milan context, setting itself as a widespread event, coordinating an extraordinary opening of the realities active in the urban fabric and organizing a series of dynamic training meetings, round tables and in-depth talks in one place (the Sala delle Colonne of the Fabbrica del Vapore) which was the operative center.
