The Wall Project is the series of exhibitions curated by Federico Montagna, managing director of Artoday & digital curator, and Myriam Kuehne Rauner, which involves the most talented emerging painters on the international contemporary art scene. A window where the artists can show a unique and unreleased work that appears on the wall in Angelo della Pergola 1 gallery in Milan. An analogic display in the real world on which the artist shares with the public his latest researches, without using any hashtag, but leaving one written on the wall, instead.

“Natura”

The Wall No. 2 hosts the new painting of Alina Vergnano, “Natura” and an unreleased videoclip. Born in Turin in 1989, Vergnano lives and works in Gothenburg, Sweden. She graduated in Illustration and Animation at the European Institute of Design in Turin, in 2012, but soon after she drifted from working with illustration to a professional artistic practice. Her work has been presented in several group and solo show at Cabinet Studiolo (Milan, 2018), Limited Works (Copenhagen, 2018), Gallery Konstepiemin (Gothenburg, 2018) Susanne Petterson Gallery (Stockholm, 2017), Gallery Thomassen (Gothenburg, 2017), Raum Vollreinigung (Berlin, 2017), STOCK 20 Kunsthallen (Taichung, 2015) and more.

“I think that what I really tried to describe with this work is how, even in the moments in which we feel more vulnerable and we hide from ourselves and the world, there still is an inner energy that we cannot control, which protect us and make us stronger than we think we are. This untamed force identifies with the Nature of our own being”
