The Wall Project is the series of exhibitions curated by Federico Montagna, managing director of Artoday & digital curator, and Myriam Kuehne Rauner, which involves the most talented emerging painters on the international contemporary art scene. A window where the artists can show a unique and unreleased work that appears on the wall in Angelo della Pergola 1 gallery in Milan. An analogic display in the real world on which the artist shares with the public his latest researches, without using any hashtag, but leaving one written on the wall, instead.

“Tramite Luce”

12.12.2018 – 19.12.2018

On the occasion of The Wall No. 3, the artist Alan Borguet has presented a new work from his “monochrome” series: “Tramite Luce”. Borguet was born in Milan in 1988, where he still lives and works. His background comes from graffiti and streetart world although his artistic awareness has grown during the years thanks to the discovery of painting, inspired expecially by the works of the italian masters of gestual art such as Carla Accardi and Dadamaino. Borguet took part in several solo and collective exhibitions in Italy and he is one of the member of “The Circle of Poets”, the artistic group of the famous fashion brand Etro, with whom he has collaborated for different exhibits and events around the world. The last one was held this summer in Moscow for the 50th anniversary of the company.

“With the use of gold in this monochrome I wanted to reach a pure light which comes out from the canvas for expanding and becoming ambient. Therefore gold is a vehicle, a medium with which to exceed the limits of spatiality and move close to the viewer, such as a light which illuminates”.
